Rossway Riding for the Disabled
Rossway is a small RDA group based at Hastoe Hill Riding School, near Tring, amidst lovely Chilterns countryside. They hold sessions on a Thursday afternoon during term times and can cater for about 20 riders -adults and children - spread over 4 sessions. Their riders' disabilities cover a fairly broad spectrum of physical and learning difficulties, and they rely on a very loyal and hard working team of volunteers to run the professional service that they offer.
Tring Lions chose Rossway as one of their main beneficiaries for 2013/14 and made a presentation to them at the the Lions Entertainments Evening in April this year, this was followed up by a visit from Chris and Ailsa from the Lions, they were made very welcome and had a pleasant and informative afternoon.
