To celebrate their 40th anniversary Tring Lions are sponsoring a mini-bus for Community Action Dacorum, the sponsorship is initially for 3 years. In early July the bus, resplendent in its new livery, was on display at Pendley Manor where the Lions were holding their monthly Business Meeting.

In memory of one of their members, the Lions make the 'John Lane Award' to deserving local youth projects.  This year the award and a cheque for £500 has gone to the Ridgeway Scouts. At the Business Meeting the Scouts turned up in force together with one of the tents that they had purchased with the donation
